Honey & Wine Experience in the Cretan Countryside

A half-day private experience that combines local tradition, authentic flavors and cultural heritage. This tour focuses on hands-on experiences and introduces you to some of the most characteristic products of the Cretan land.

The experience begins with a visit to a local beekeeping unit, where you will learn about the process of honey production and the role of bees in the ecosystem. You will observe how a hive operates and enjoy a tasting of pure Cretan honey, discovering its unique characteristics.

The journey continues with a visit to a selected winery, where you will explore the vineyards, learn about local grape varieties, and take part in a guided wine tasting experience. The visit offers a complete introduction to local wine culture, combining knowledge with flavor.

The tour concludes at the Monastery of Agios Georgios in Kryonerida, a site of cultural importance. There, you will see the historic olive mill with its characteristic arches and traditional presses, offering insight into older olive oil production methods.

Throughout the experience, you will travel through scenic routes with green landscapes, countryside views and traditional villages.

Pickup and drop-off are included from Chania and surrounding areas. The tour is private for groups of up to 8 people, accompanied by a local professional licensed English-speaking driver.
