Daily Experience – Olive Oil Tasting, Beer Tasting & Cooking Class
A full-day private experience that combines tradition, local flavors and authentic Cretan culture. This tour takes you through some of the island’s most characteristic inland locations, offering a balanced mix of tasting, learning and hands-on participation.
Your day begins with a visit to a traditional olive mill, where you will explore the history and production of organic olive oil using classic methods such as millstones and presses. Through a guided tour, you will discover the importance of olive cultivation and enjoy a tasting of selected olive oils, understanding their aromas and quality characteristics.
The journey continues to the village of Ano Vouves, home to one of the oldest olive trees in the world, estimated to be over 3,000 years old. In the same area, you will also visit the Olive Tree and Olive Oil Museum, gaining deeper insight into the long-standing connection between Crete and olive oil.

The experience concludes in the village of Zounaki, where you will visit a local brewery. There, you will take part in a cooking class guided by professionals, followed by a brewery tour and beer tasting of fresh, unfiltered varieties.
Throughout the tour, you will travel through scenic routes with green landscapes, traditional villages, and views of the countryside.
Pickup and drop-off are included from Chania and surrounding areas. The tour is private for groups of up to 8 people, accompanied by a local professional licensed English-speaking driver.
